• Hi,

I was wondering if there’s a way to have a scaled image for the postgrid thunm_link.

Right now, I’m looking to optimize my site, and the featured images are already optimized as far as file size, but the images themselves are pretty big. So is there a way to put a smaller scale image for the thumb_link, because I would like to keep the big image as a featured image, for when the user actually looks at the blog post.

    I hope that made sense.

    Thanks!

    Thanks for your post,

Please see there is an option for “Featured Image size” so that you can select different sized images to display.

Well, I see that, and I am currently using that feature, but does this image just scale the image down, or does it crop the featured image and use the cropped image as its thumbnail image?

I’m currently looking into optimizing my site, and my clients are posting huge photo files which are slowing down the site. I have optimized the images and brought it down significantly in size, but when I look in the inspector, the image is still pulling from the big picture, rather than just using a 150x150px image, for example.

    I hope I’m being clear.

if you select “Thumbnail” the it should load 150×150 size image on post grid.

I am not sure if you are displaying through layout editor thumbnail items that not might work for size.

if you wish i can check your site please go our site and ask question via forum or contact page.
