When running a speed test I get the following message:

The following images are resized in HTML or CSS. Serving scaled images could save 471.8KiB (94% reduction).

This message is solely for the images displayed in the Top 10 widget.

Is there anything I can change about this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

This is probably because the images in the sidebar are not the correctly cropped size. You can activate this by turning ont he custom size in the settings page which should be the exact size of the thumbnails you are using. Also turn on Crop mode and to crop images – all under Thumbnails tab.

You will need to regenerate thumbnails using a plugin like Regenerate Thumbnails.

    Thank you for your reply.

We created custom thumbnails 300×150 and regenerated thumbnails with our plugin.

However, in the code we see thumbnails 300×250

    Why is this happening?

I just looked at the link again and the image in the Most Popular Articles seems to be pulling the 300×150 images.

Any specific one you’re looking at which isn’t?
