This is due to some edge cases related to the images that you use and the mechanism of optimization that we have implemented.

We never deliver an image that is larger, in size, than the original image that you want to optimize.

For some users that were already optimized the images to the maximum, it might trigger this kind of errors.

Some things that you could do right now are:

• Try to enable JS replacement and lazyload which might deliver smaller images due to the exact scale option.
• Lower the quality factor to something smaller, maybe low and see how it goes

We are aiming in the next release to make this mechanism of switching to the original size if the optimized size is smaller, optional for those people who prefer better quality rather than the smallest size possible.

It took a few hours after I did the first suggested procedure and purged the cache, but it worked. Didn’t have to do the other procedure.
