As described on Photon page, it can be used only as CDN to “improve page speed”. So is ok to serve Google Images with a link to the cached image instead of my own server?

I mean, Google Images have two buttons: Visit page and View image, and this one is linking to my server. Can I use Apache redirects pointing hotlinks (as the Google button) to Photon to save my bandwidth to page visitors or is it illegal?

Photon is only allowed to be used by sites hosted on WordPress.com, or on Jetpack-connected WordPress sites, so it’s not possible to do what you described above. Additionally, abuse of Jetpack (which includes Photon) or violation of the WordPress.com Terms of Service could result in suspension of your site from WordPress.com-connected services.

Thanks for the response. In fact, it is possible with a RewriteRule on .htaccess, but since you’re saying it’s a violation of TOS, I’ll not publish here. My doubt was because bots/ image indexing do requisitions as any other visitors, so serving it with Photon urls would improve the site performance.
