Serve cached pages to logged in users??

    Will this work like i am thinking?
    I have bbpress and forums is very important but would like to speed them up a bit so if i enable cached pages for logged in users does it update when someone posts or will logged in members get no updates until cache clears like non logged in users?

  • Hi,

    No, this will not work as you want it to.
    The cache is NOT generated when a user is logged in, so if you serve a cached version to a logged in user, they will appear as not logged-in, and won’t be able to post any reply.

    Also there are currently no specific rules for clearing parts of cache for the forums when new replies are posted.
