Sermon type no longer appears

I am having this same issue. I have found that if you go to your WP-Admin > Sermons, and then choose “Quick Edit”, you can manually type in the Service Type there. That way it does save correctly and things show up right. However, it does not work when you select Service Type while editing the post directly. Can this be fixed?
