I made 4 kinds of rooms and set the room availability configuration 10 for each rooms. When I first made the reservation, it worked well. When I went to All Bookings category, whole information was saved well. But when I started booking again, it worked well until I checked the room, date, and filled in customer reservation but when I confirmed the reservation, it suddenly went to the page showing “no rooms found”. Then I went to the All Bookings page. For the first reservation information, it’s showing “Comport Triple Room”for Rooms, and “1 Adult” for Guests column. But the second one, there’s just number ‘1’ for Rooms column and there’s nothing in Guests column. I made booking again and again but the results same. ‘1’ in Rooms column and nothing in Guests column… The only first reservation works well with correct room&guest information and from the second, it’s not working well. I deleted this plugin and installed it again for several times but always only the first reservation works well. I searched the Internet to solve this problem but couldn’t find the same case like me. I want to know why I go to “no rooms found” page although there’s room available and set appropriate adults, childs, costs configurations. I read other questions but there wasn’t same case like me that reservaiton available first and after confirmation suddenly no rooms???!!!! I want to fix this problem!!!!!!! Help me!!!!!

    Hi,

Thanks for reporting this issue with so many details. However, this is actually something pretty strange that should not be happening, especially if the first reservation always goes well when you install the plugin.

We do not think this has got anything to do with the database structure, it is rather something related to the configuration of the plugin.

We did understand that you created 4 room-types with 10 units each, and so this means that every room-type can be booked up to 10 times on the same dates.

The “no rooms found” is a generic error message that does not involve the availability, or the system would have tried to suggest the best and closest booking solutions to suggest near dates or a different combination of rooms/guests per room.

For the moment, the most we can tell you is to double check the configuration of the page Rates Table, where each room-type should have a cost defined for any number of nights of stay allowed. For example, if you are testing a booking for one week, 7 nights, then all of your rooms should have a cost defined for 7 nights of stay in the page Rates Table.
Moreover, every room has got a minimum and maximum number of adults, children and total guests (adults + children), which will result as the capacity of each room. A common example of an invalid configuration of the rooms is to define a minimum number of children to 1, and so by making a search for 2 adults and 0 children, such room won’t be available as the search criteria don’t match with the rooms configuration. For this reason, the minimum number of children should always be set to 0.

If you believe all these settings have been properly set up, then we invite you to reach out to our technical support team by visiting our website. This way we can investigate more on the issue you’re having, but as I said, none of our clients ever reported a similar issue, and so there has to be something wrong somewhere.
Even if you don’t have a paid account with us, you can always use the contact form to report an issue with our plugin. The more details you give us about your plugin’s configuration, the easier it will be for us to understand the cause of the issue. Such public topics in the forum are probably not the best place to fix such a particular issue, that is why we would appreciate if you could contact us from our website in case you still have issues. Thank you.

    The VikWP Team
