Seriously, *how* do I install a custom theme?

  • I just started a WP yesterday (the free account) and I have no idea how to install a theme. I downloaded a free custom one from another website and am completely lost. Even after searching for hours and reading old posts I have no idea why I’m not seeing an “Upload Theme” button under my Themes dash.
    Sorry I’m very WordPress illiterate and am completely lost.

  • I was confused by this at first too.

    If you’re on wordpress.com you’re not going to see that option. The themes you’re downloading are for www.remarpro.com, for self-hosted sites.

    What you can do is look for themes at themes.wordpress.com

    On another note, this is the support page for www.remarpro.com. For a free blog you should be asking questions at the wordpress.com support forum.
