    Dear plugin developer,

This is a link to the WPML support ticket we filed today, concerning crucial compatibly issues between CF7 and WPML, as was just confirmed by WPML support.

In brief, these are the 2 issues:

    1. CF7 shortcodes entered into VC text blocks pages/pots in original language, are copied automatically and uncontrollably into the translated pages/posts, even if not required by user, who wants to place a different CF7 shortcode in the translated page/post. The result – on the translated page/post you will see two forms, one in original language and the other in the translated language, instead of showing only the translated language form.

    2. VC CF7 module can’t be translated by WPML translation editor. It is currently not supported by WPML (probably not included currently in the wpml-config file).

Since the CF7 shortcode issue did not exist before, we, as well as WPML support, assume it may have been caused by recent WPML plugins version updates.

We think this is the same with CF7 module issue.

    Can you help/advise?

    Thank you,

    Noam

Here is not an appropriate place to discuss issues about commercial products. The guidelines clearly prohibit that.

    Dear plugin developer,

Thank you very much for your reply.

I see your point, but 2 questions please:

    1. I notice there are many support threads on this forum concerning CF7 issues with WPML. You replied and assisted many of them here on this forum. You didn’t mention in any of them that it was not the appropriate place to discuss the CF7 – WPML issues.

So why is the issue I raised different? why me?

    2. Where should I post such issue, if not on this forum, when it concerns CF7 compatibility with other commercial plugin?

Thanks again for all you help.

    Noam
