    Hi, I’d love someone to point me in the right direction with this!

    I recently finished a website ( palladiumfineart.com ) for a client built with WP. I’m running analytics, and webmaster to monitor the website. I’ve submitted a sitemap and a robots.txt file as usual. Here are the issues i’m having;

    URL,Detail,Linked From,Detected
    https://palladiumfineart.com/?post_type=resources&p=607,404 (Not found),1 pages,11/4/11
    https://palladiumfineart.com/sculptures/feed/,404 (Not found),2 pages,11/4/11
    https://palladiumfineart.com/comments/feed/,404 (Not found),10 pages,11/4/11
    https://palladiumfineart.com/paintings/feed/,404 (Not found),1 pages,11/3/11

    the above information is from webmaster tools. I don’t want or need the feeds, how can I remove those? I know I could block the crawl with robots.txt, but there surely is a way to take these out the header.php file in WP? As for the 1st 404, not a clue! I can’t even find it in the source code on the page where it’s apparently linked from.

    The second and more pressing issue is how the site is doing in search results. Despite 93 URL’s being submitted and 81 URL’s being accepted into the index (which I have checked with a “site:” search, the website is NOWHERE to be seen in a google search. This is proving a real pain, and I have no encountered this before. I’ve been racking my brains, what could the issue be? The 404’s? The website is hosted on a server with one company, the domain is with another company, so the hosting just points there – could that also be some strange issue for google? Generally, I’m utterly lost with this one, usually once a site is indexed I’m away!

    …help…. : \

    Thanks, Dan.
