Serious Problems After 3.5.2 Update Attempt

  • I attempted the update for our site (sports225.com), but keep getting this:

    An automated WordPress update has failed to complete – please attempt the update again now.

    When I click the link, nothing happens. Is there an issue with this upgrade?

    I was using SlideDeck, and although it tells me the folder still exists when I attempt to reinstall, the plugin itself is not showing up in my dashboard, nor are my slide decks. I’m also having trouble with Tweet Blender. It’s telling me no Tweets were found, when I know there are plenty to pull up. All of this became an issue when I attempted the update. Everything was fine before. I even added a blog post prior to this update screwing up, and it showed up just fine.

    Any suggestions on what may be happening would be greatly appreciated. I am not tech savvy, learn HTML (badly) as I go, but I’m trying. Please be patient with me, as I muddle through figuring this out.

    Can anyone assist with these issues? Video slides and a Twitter feed are imperative for our page. Everything was fine until Monday afternoon. I can see where the Slide Decks are supposed to be on my video links page, but no actual slides appear.

    Desperate for assistance.
