Serious posting issues

  • Ok, I prefer writing my posts in word then pasting it into WP. WP then distorts the heck out of i.e. losing paragraphs, moving margins around etc.

    Even if I edit it in WP and it looks perfect as soon as I hit save, my paragraphs are all bunched together, spaces are taken away in spots.

    Is there some setting or way of editing I am doing wrong? Thank you

  • Yeah, cause Word generates “poopy” HTML and negates your blog theme’s CSS style.

    GOTTA use word? copy/paste the article into Notepad first to strip all the formatting.

    Open to better ways? There are LOT of blogging clients out there these days. See this page in the Codex: Weblog_Client

    In particular, you might want to give Windows Live Writer a look — similar to Word and does a great job with images as well.

    Try Adobe’s Contribute 4.
