• Hello,

I test it on a fresh subsite of multisite with Twenty Nineteen, and here are the issues that I found:

    1. Only After it activated, the videos will not play on iPhone, please check the screenshot:https://prntscr.com/o1n31s

2.After it was deactivated, the videos will still NOT play with same issue.

3.After it was deactivated, and cleared all cache and restart nginx, there will still some CSS and JS resource loaded at frontend, please check the screenshot:
    https://prntscr.com/o1n6ve

4.In this situation, the whole Multisites will be caused down, and I need restart Nginx to get server to restart working.

are you sure it is multisite support?

    Thanks

PS: I will roll back our whole server to previous status, so you will not found the issue if you access our site after you read this post.

    Hi Alex,

Thank you for trying out our plugin.

1 & 2. To be honest, I don’t think it’s a problem of the PWA. From the image, it looks like the embed issue, but it could be because of PWA. I have to check, can you please share that URL so that I can check how the video is embedded?

    3. Those are not errors, that’s just saying that the svg was fetched with service worker but the ico file was not fetched. The reason pwa-sw (Service worker) is running is because it’s installed on the browser level. You have got to remove the cache and un-register the service worker so that it will be removed from your browser.

    4. I think this one is the real serious issue. It shouldn’t take the multisite down. We are actively working on the Multisite compatibility and developing alot on it. We would need your help in finding what went wrong there. Can you please report this bug on https://pwa-for-wp.com/contact-us/

Our development team works closely on bug reports and helps you solve them with the updates.

Ok, I will setup a fresh subsite, and leave a video for your check before install “PWA for WP & AMP”, so that you can install “PWA for WP & AMP” and activate it to comparing the video playing issue BEFORE and AFTER it is activated.

You have got to remove the cache and un-register the service worker so that it will be removed from your browser.

Do you mean that we need manually do some work to unregister? or just clear cache?

Ok, I will write to you later at https://pwa-for-wp.com/contact-us/

PWA plugin is deleted, and I am sure that I already cleared cache both on server end and browser, but there is still a file of pwa-sw-57.js loaded on Google Chrome, please check the screenshot:
    https://prntscr.com/o8juqn

Would you please let me know how to un-register the service worker?

    Thanks

That’s not related with it either in my opinion. Let me get my developer team’s opinion and get back to you?
