Can you login to your site hosting cpanel?

    kmessinger

    (@kmessinger)

Use the email password option on the sign in screen.

    Securi shows the site clean.

Yes I can login to the webhosts Cpanel ()parallels()

I have wordfence on the website and capthca and all that good stuff
I have changed the password for my login ‘Beatmania-NZ’ to something even more complex than the original password was.

it seems that either i’ve been hacked OR my login has lost its administration rights.

If the latter is the case, how can I recover them?

Using the file manager in cpanel rename your plugins folder plugins-old.

    Thread Starter BeatmaniaNZ

    (@beatmanianz)

Okay I have moved all plugins to a folder plugins-old. No Change

Change the admin credentials in the database in phpmyadmin under wp_users. Change the email and admin name there and just reset pass

    (@elite12)

delete any users you dont know also

Okay I have moved all plugins to a folder plugins-old.

    You did disable them correct?

Replace any code in the .htaccess file with this

    # BEGIN WordPress
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
    </IfModule>

    # END WordPress

Note the .htaccess file is an invisable file so you might have to change some setting. You rename it htaccess.txt to make changes and then name it back.

wonder if any of this worked

ill get back to you – its my birthday and im busy!

Right, back, very full of food ^^

I would love to know why some of you are dropping suggestions to reset my password. I have NO TROUBLE logging to Wp-Admin, do you even read?

    Issue is:

      ONCE I log in

, like I do every day that this has happened. See the following images (links)

I am a bit scared about this – it’s my first website and now I can’t administer it ??

    Thread Starter BeatmaniaNZ

    (@beatmanianz)

Also, if it helps kmessinger, remember that I’m not actually able to disable any plugin’s because I have no administration over my own site. so they were simply moved to an “-old” folder

-_- It’s not hacked? Are u the only user of the site??

    Delete all your cookies etc.
    close browser.
    start browser
    delete cookies again.
    start browser and login.

The above did not help and achieved nothing.
