I created a page query to display all the posts under a specific category on that page. They are to be ordered ASC by Title also. Everything works fine in the preview, so I added the path. (I’m very familiar with Drupal views, btw).

Navigated to path… it redirects to my home page, WITH the address bar showing the path url. Disabled the plugin, and it goes to the path…

    What am I doing wrong?

    Hi desireroberts,

I’ve haven’t had time to focus on this in a few months, so I understand the confusions. Instead of using the page path option, I recommend making queries as widgets and using the shortcode for the query on a normal wordpress page.

Something in 3.7/8 changed about how wordpress handles 404s and since then my page path handling hasn’t worked well.

I haven’t 100% settled on how I’m going to handle query pages in the future, but for now the plan is to encourage shortcode use on normal WP pages.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you run into any issues using the shortcodes.

I think it would be a good idea to add this problem to the FAQ, as it seems to be affecting a few people. I’m having the same problem.

This is an awesome plugin by the way. Nice work.

I’ve disable the creation of new Page queries, and placed instructions on the Create Query page for using shortcodes on WP Pages.
