I use Inmotionhosting’s managed VPS package and it works quite well.

But your plugin detects and shows the same IP address for any attack in any case and this address is the server IP address. So, after repeated incorrect login or the maximum number of page not found errors, your plugin blocks server’s IP address!

    It’s just funny.
    Do you have any solution?

In any alert or notification, for any users from any countries, your plugin shows always the server location, country and IP address only.

    No cache plugin.
Can’t change How does Wordfence get IPs option, because the SAVE CHANGES button is not active.
When the SAVE CHANGES button is active, it’s impossible to save any changes, because the page just jumps to the top, after you try to click on the SAVE CHANGES button.

    Very disappointed.

    Hi @merkucio,

Indeed, modifying the value for the “How does Wordfence get IPs” parameter should solve the IP related issue you first mentioned.

The problem you’re having with the “Save Changes” button could be caused by a conflict with one of the plugins installed or the theme you’re using.

Could you please try disabling all other plugins and reactivating them one by one to see if the issue is related to a conflict?

To do so I recommend the “Health Check” plugin which allows you to disable all plugins and switch to a default theme, but only for your user.
