Serialized data?

  • Hi — We have several sites hosted at WP Engine. We often use the Staging feature on WP Engine, which makes a copy of a live site over to their staging server.

    On one of ours sites, we have found that the styles we enter using your plugin do not copy over to staging. WP Engine’s support suggested that perhaps it uses serialized data, which they don’t handle during the conversion to staging. Could that be the case?

    Or if not, do you have any idea why the field would be blank after copying & migrating the site? There are 1000 lines in the field on live, and after synching, the field is blank on staging.

  • I use WPengine and have the same issue when copying from live site to staging. I have to manually copy and paste the ccs from the live site to the staging site.
    It seems as if this plugin is hardly supported anymore.
