Serch fonction and Simple File List plugin

    Hi

    I am testing your plugin on our website. Is it possible to make it works with files uploaded to a specific directory ? We are using “Simple File List” plugin and search seems not working with. The files are uploaded to /wp-content/uploads/simple-file-list/

    We would like all media directories to be active in search.

    Hi,

    It does matter where the files are uploaded. The files should be uploaded using WordPress media library and should exist in media library, if this is true then you will be able to search these files in WordPress search.

    The style of listing will depends on search results template.

    If this is not the answer of your question then please elaborate with some screenshots and links.

    Hi,

    No the files uploaded with “Simple File List” are not listed in Media Library.
    They are uploaded by the plugin in a specific folder www/…../wp-content/uploads/simple-file-list/

    Hi,

    I am sorry but WPES only works with default media of WordPress.
    You should find a plugin that uses WordPress media library while providing their own interface of upload.
