• Hello,

I would really appreciate if somebody can help me as soon as possible.

I’m having a problem with a sequence of titles appearing on the upper left side of almost every page of my website. However, some of the pages (HOME, VOZ, DEMOS and BLOG) are not showing this problem.

Besides that, this symbols ” /> appear on the left top of the pages where the sequence of titles are visible.

Please check it out on my website albertoluisvoice.com

    Thank you for your help!

the " /> indicates an HTML error somewhere. What files have you modified?

Just FYI, tracking down something like this is a giant pain. It’s least painful if you can walk back through any changes you’ve made to the template files.

Thank you so much for your help Steve!

The only file I edited was the header (header.php). In order to integrate the breadcrumbs navigation, yoast asks to you paste the following at the end of the file:

    <?php if ( function_exists(‘yoast_breadcrumb’) )
    {yoast_breadcrumb(‘<p id=”breadcrumbs”>’,'</p>’);} ?>

    It’s all I did.

    Any idea about titles issue?

    Thank you!

how are you adding the ‘msvalidate’ data?
the " /> seems to be coming from an arror within that input.

I checked several pages, and I don’t see any ‘sequence of titles appearing on the upper left side of almost every page‘.

can you post a direct link to one of those pages, and provide a screenshot?

    Thank you Michael!

The website was looking perfect, until I installed some pluggins. I haven’t modified anything or any files so far. The only thing I did on the header.php file I already removed it.

It seems related to the ws-google-webmaster-tools plugin. Check how you entered the bing validation string.

I think you’re just supposed to put in the ID string, not the whole <meta…> in the plugin’s settings.

Thank you again for your help Steve!

In fact the google-webmaster-tools was one those pluggins I installed before this issue. However I deactivated it a few hours ago.

Besides that, it’s curious that when I visit the website directly from my wordpress session or dashboard everything looks perfect. The issues appear when I visit it from a different navigator.

If you have any caching plugins, clear the cache.

The pluggins I have installed right now are:

    – Bootstrap Shortcodes
    – CPT-onomies: Using Custom Post Types as Taxonomies
    – MP3-jPlayer
    – Verify Ownership
    – Wordfence Security
    – WP-Optimize
    – Yoast SEO

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you!

IN wordfence, check “performance” and if you have caching enabled there, disable it.

My friend Steve, you hit the jackpot!!!

Thank you so much for all your help. Everything is back to normal now.

I used to use Wordfence caching. I’m getting better results these days from a combination of autoptimize and wp super cache.
