Seperate products for different colours but linked together

    Hi,

    Looking at how woocommerce products work and having not found a good solution with plugins, I’m going to make the different colour variations of my products into separate products. This way they will have their own galleries, be viewable in the shop page, and when clicked on they will take you directly to the correct colour variation of the product.

    But what I need is to be able to link to the other products when there are other colour options available. Does anyone have an simple solution for this?

    Hi there,

    If I understand correctly, you’re essentially looking for a way to show product variations on the shop overview page – Correct?

    If so, you could take a look at https://codecanyon.net/item/woo-display-variations-on-catalog-pages/16828349 – We don’t have any direct experience with that plugin although it’d be worthwhile to reach out to their developers to make sure it meets your requirements.

    But what I need is to be able to link to the other products when there are other colour options available.

    There’s no default way to do that using just WooCommerce and you’d either need look into having that custom developed for you, or you could add those products as up-sells/cross-sells.

    Thanks, This plugin doesn’t quite fulfil my needs I’m afraid. I may look into the getting this coded for me
