Seperate Pages/Post

Good Evening,

I have reviewed a couple of blogs about separating the blog post, but see different examples of how to do this. I would like to make sure each post has its on page and not looping with other categories. What’s the most effective way to do this whether it is using a plug-in or code at the end of each page?
