separator appears before title

    Hi, I just have just started to use yoast and it′s great. However, after the first configuration and chosing the default separator in the plugin, there is a separator at the beginning of my website like this:

    “- site title”

    How do I remove the separator before the website title? When the plugin is desactived, the separator disappear.

    I have search through the forum and the knowledge base and I cannot find any information on this. Can you please help me?

    Can you please check whether you can see the force rewrite titles option on the Yoast SEO -> Search Appearance -> General (tab)? If yes, please enable it and which should resolve this issue.
