Separating Trackbacks and Comments

    First off, my blog is located at: https://www.ihatethebus.com

    As you see, I have trackbacks enabled.

    The link [0 Trackbacks] is currently not actually a counter. I want to replace the number with something that displays the amount of trackbacks. Also, I want the comment counter to count ONLY comments, and NOT trackbacks.

    How can I make the comments link display only the amount of comments (as it is now, comments_popup_link lists both trackbacks AND comments), and make the trackbacks link display only the trackbacks?

    I actually managed to search support to answer all of my questions up until now, but the documentation on trackbacks seems quite sparse..

    So, apparently there’s code out there to do this in WordPress 1, but not 2.0 yet. At least I know I’m not losing my mind — the option simply isn’t built into WordPress.
