separate thumbnail and featured image

    I am wondering if there is a way to have a featured image / thumbnail and mini thumbnail per post.

    At present the featured image is croped to fit the thumbnail size. Usually this looks terrible.

    Is there a plugin to extend featured images

    You could just create a custom field for the URL of the additional image and then reference that in your template?
