Separate subfolder for blog posts without new install

for the posts listing and/or blog landing page yes it would and does.

However, I would like to see my post urls as /blog/blog-category/postname

this is not happening… since the /blog is basically the slug of the blog landing page and not really a folder

i dont know if making any changes to the permalinks settings will achieve this… but I am trying that… so far with no luck

UPDATE:

I managed to set this up like I need:

1. Created a post category called Blog – parent was root
2. Created post sub-categories Curries and Puffs and set parent of each to Blog
3. Set Permalinks to Custom Structure: /%category%/%postname%/

And lo and behold: I am getting the urls as

https://stufd.in/blog/curries/first-post/
https://stufd.in/blog/puffs/second-post/

I guess I just needed me to stop being lazy ??
