Separate login based on company user

  • Hello,

    I’m about to develop a website but I do not have enough knowledge on how to build this kind of website. Not to mention, is there a way in WP on how to create a separate login page depending on the company users?
    For example, I have a dental clinic website and there are 3 companies that need to login on that website. (Company A, Company B and Company C). All of them are users in the dental clinic. Meaning to say, per company has its admin.
    Since the clinic is the one adding the patients, how it could be possible that once the Company A user logs in, he/she can only view patients from its company whereas company B and C will not be able to view it and vice versa. Or is there any implementation/plugin to do that?

    Use one of the membership plugins to manage who can see what. You may need some minor custom coding to fill some gaps in functionality, but the right plugin should address most of the needs you’ve described.

    Hello @bcworkz, thank you for that. But is it also possible to make the clinic upload only a specific file (for example) only for company A, or for company B and or for company C? then once either of those company logs in, they can only see the uploaded file? I’m not sure if I already addressed this.
    Do you have any idea on how should I integrate that?

    If the uploads are via the media library, then yes it’s possible. Queries for the related attachment posts can be qualified by user group, a value that could be saved when the upload occurred. I’m not sure what membership plugins might do this, but it’s at least possible through custom coding.
