Separate Categories > Show/Hide Sub Categories

    Say I have a shopping blog and I have different categories to help people shop. I might want those separated, to look more like a store than categories, especially since the subcategory lists can be VERY long. Is there a way to show 1 category at a time and/or show drop down or show/hide for subcategories?
