Our customers are companies and often has a separate billing email to like accounting@ or similar. That should not be the email where we send purchase confirmations or other customer emails. Only invoices should go there. So how do we change all the receivers to non-invoice related emails so they go to a custom meta email address and not the default billing email?

I am a developer so if there is any way to change this with code instead of a third party plugin would be the best.

Edit: I also don’t want the billing email to be added to any email list in MailPoet.

    Hello @peter-westerlund,

The simplest way I can think of to accomplish this would be to create a new checkout field, such as “Accountant Email,” and then use AutomateWoo to send an email triggered by the “order created” event, with the destination email address set to the newly created field.

As for the email content, you have many variables to choose from, such as the customer’s name, order number, and order total. These can be easily added to the email using AutomateWoo’s variable functionality.

You can refer to this guide on how to create a new checkout field: https://woocommerce.com/document/tutorial-customising-checkout-fields-using-actions-and-filters/

I should note that all extensions sold on WooCommerce.com have a 30-day refund policy. If the product doesn’t work the way you need it or you think another product would work better, we are more than happy to provide a full refund.

    Hope this helps!
