Separate Archive Pages for Blog & Podcast

I’m still having trouble finding some help for this issue…
I understand how permalinks work, and customizing them on the admin dashboard for WordPress. But I want to have blogs and podcasts (podcasts is set up as a custom post type on my site) have their own separate respective archive pages.
I want all posts to have a permalink structure of /blog/post-name
and all podcasts to have a permalink structure of /episodes/episode-nameMy custom post type already has “episodes” set up as its archive page… but customizing for the “/blog” for the default posts in Settings then adds /blog to my podcasts permalink structure, which is not what I want. That gives me this result:
mywebsite.com/blog/episodes/episode-name

Thank you, but I’m sorry I still think this does note help. I already accomplished setting up the custom permalink for my podcasts as a custom post type… I still need help to figure out how to customize the permalink for the default posts post type without adding it to the podcast’s permalink.
Can you please help?!?!
It must just be something simple that needs added to the functions.php or something like that.
I just want blogs to be at mydomain.com/blog/post-title and podcasts to be at mydomain.com/episodes/episode-title
