• Hi guys, I’m trying to do some seo work on my site and have just used seoquake which is telling me:
    1) No Meta description
    2) No Meta keywords
    3) XML Sitemaps

Now I’m using Atahualpa 3.7.3 which has a built in seo section but this is disabled because I’m using WordPress SEO Version 1.1.5 By Joost de Valk. I have filled out the description and keywords and submitted the sitemaps to my webmaster tools and they check out there. Any ideas as to why seoquake is saying they arn’t there as it’s doing my head in now.
    Thanks in advance
    Mitch.

Can you see the meta stuff when you view source?

Hi lps thanks for the reply,
I have solved the Meta description and Key word part, it was because my home page was set to latest posts. I have changed it to a static page and it is fine now, however it still says there is no sitemap. The sitemap is set up through WordPress SEO Version 1.1.5 By Joost de Valk. Would I be best off using another plugin like google sitemaps or with this cause a conflict with WordPress SEO??

I know that WordPress SEO works fine in general, and the sitemap does too.
