SEO Yoast Not Working On Posts

    Hi there,

    Recently, like 2 weeks ago, my SEO Yoast is no longer working on posts, but is on pages. I have tried numerous things including uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin, resetting the settings to the default as well as some other things.

    The SEO Yoast box appears on it, but you can’t edit anything. You can set a Focus Keyword, but it does not save when you update the post. I did make a change to posts, so they would hide the Editor box (where you put the content), but I didn’t realise that would have an impact on my posts.

    There’s also an Advanced Custom Field on it (Flexible Content/Repeater) which I have also disabled, but no change. I’ve also tried disabling all the other plugins as well, but no luck.

  • I am having the same problem with Yoast SEO premium. Seems like a major problem.

    Same here.
    The Snippet editor and the Content Analysis fields are unavailable in Posts, all OK on Pages.
    In addition, the page editor icons in Text View are missing. It seems to have stripped these out on the Posts pages. Please can Yoast people fix this.

    I’ve reset the settings to Default, but it’s the same as Ryan’s screenshot above.

    How to solve?

    The same is happening to me! Still not word on this? I do have one site that I manage where this is not happening. What’s the issue? It’s very frustrating.

    Mine was because of conflicting plugins. The Responsive Accordion Slider + Collapse stops the SEO Yoast plugin on posts only. I’d suggest checking your plugins! ??

    RyanLegge conflict with one of your plugins maybe is the issue. I have not the issue and edit snippet works fine by me
