SEO Yoast doesn’t work

    Hi,

    I have installed the plug-in SEO Yoast and I have filled in the SEO-title and megadescription a while ago. When I search in Google, it is the description from the website and not the description from the plug-in.

    How long will it take before it is visible in Google? What can be the problem? I have a Google Verification Code filled in.

    Hi Renate,

    In general, we recommend waiting up to 2 weeks for the changes to be reflected in the search engine results pages, although it usually happens faster.

    We did inspect your website and noticed that you have 2 meta descriptions (i.e. https://i.imgur.com/aeXCfHd.png ), which is why the correct meta description may not get displayed.

    The first meta description is generating either by a different plugin or your WordPress theme. You would have to remove that in order for the meta description generated by Yoast SEO to be shown in the search results.
