SEO Yoast and Google Web Developers Discrepancy

    So I’m running the Yoast plugin which has been a life safer.

    When I run the web analysis in google developers one issue that is coming up is Optimize image:
    Properly formatting and compressing images can save many bytes of data.
    Optimize the following images to reduce their size by 90.1KiB (86% reduction).

    So I found the pictures that google wants me to optimize. I deleted, added back, optimized and its still coming up as unoptimized.

    So I removed them and my score shot up! But the ONLY reason I even have 1 of these images there is because Yoast is telling me that I need an image in the body with my keywords….and my Yoast SEO score goes down when I remove that particular image.

    Which one should I listen to so that I can stay good on my google ranking?
