    Hello Friends!

My question is, what’s better for Seo, or to be found wider or better on the internet?

I’ve read alot about this issue, but didn’t really found a good answer.
So i thought, let’s ask the people on this forum.

In creating a page, there’s a option named parent, under page attributes .
I am in doubt to use this category or not.

    This is my URL:
    Example.com/seo/100-backlinks/

But i also have the option to make it this, without selecting the parent: Example.com/100-backlinks/

So please let me know what’s better?
    Thank you!

Use it if is useful for your site and readers, don’t use it if is useless. SEO comes after that, and it’s not an exact science, and changes over time.
Example.com/seo/100-backlinks/ or Example.com/100-backlinks/ it’s quite indifferent, IMHO, except that the first is more descriptive.

    Thank you so much!

But what i want to hear is, what’s better in differences in terms of seo.
Is it when i use the first url or the second.

If someone for example search on 100 backlinks.

With which url, do i get a better SERP ?

    Thank you!

As a rule of thumb, your url should be both as short as possible and contain your keyword. That means you can use it just like your specified:

    Example.com/seo/100-backlinks/

or just use seo in your post name:

    Example.com/seo-100-backlinks/

    Ok thank you my friend!

So to understand it very clear.
You advise me to use the word ‘SEO’ with it.

What i forgot to mention was, that this page falls under the page ‘SEO-BACKLINKING’ I have a dropdownmenu. So when you move your cursor on ‘seo backlinking’ the page is showing.

Because this makes the url very long, i decide not to use ‘seo backlinking’ in it, just seo.

Is this wrong, or do i need to change some things now?

    ??

Sorry for the delay, Peter, I’m not exactly sure that I got it. Please give me a link to your site.
