SEO Ultimate: link mask generator help

I had the same issue, then everything worked fine, but now again. Input disappears after I update, but only for (long & “complicated”) affiliate-links… ??

With this link it works:

With this link it does not work:

Both links on one page.

Any ideas? Someone?

Unfortunately the 4.8.1 update did not solve the problem ??

@pxrmx: I tried your URL (https://bus-service-crete-ktel.com/timetabledet.php?line=1&lg=3) with 4.8.1 and it worked fine for me. Could you please list the exact steps needed to replicate the problem? Also, what version of WordPress, what version of PHP, and what browser are you using?

I try to add text after /go/ and I update the post. The added text disapears.

@3saxx: Do all URLs disappear when you update the post, or only certain ones?

When it happens, they all disapear.

But further tests today showed that some links on the page will work if I fill only the corresponding fields, but even those that work alone will disapear when I fill all the fields and update the post.

@3saxx: Could you give me some examples of links that do work when you fill in just the corresponding fields? Thanks.

Ok, SEO Ultimate (4.8.1) link mask generator seems to have a problem with some characters.

I checked the links 3saxx posted here 1 day ago, I used them first in html view:

-> works!

Changed to visual view and back to html view:
(Edit: Not possible to post, the editor changes “& a m p;” (without blanks!) to “&”)

Note: The switch to visual view changed “&” to “& a m p;” (without blanks!)

Conclusion:
1) Links with “& a m p;” (without blanks!) don’t work in my case.
2) I also figured out, that links with “[[” don’t work in my case. (The affiliate network Zanox offers text deep links with custom page-target-links, embedded in “[[” and “]]”).
3) Maybe some more characters cause problems?
