Installation is fine, auto or manual. Memory is fine. Permissions seem fine.

Clicking on Activate does not work and breaks the admin system. Only way to get back is to delete SEO Ultimate plugin.

All other plugins I install are a breeze, except this one. What’s wrong, SEO Ultimate guys ? Why is the software so special that of all the plugins I installed, it is the only one that cannot be activated ?

In the meantime, back to All In One SEO.

    Thank You.

I am having the same issue with this plugin. It is funny – I use it on several other websites using various different templates so I don’t feel it is the different templates causing the error. The only different factor is the other websites are on a different host system than the one I am having issues with.

Well, someone told me it might be related to the hosting website used. I use Bluehost.

Anyway, I can’t install SEO Ultimate, too bad. I now use WordPress by Yoast, hope it will do well.

I acutally found the solution. I contacted my hosting provider to find out how much PHP memory limit they had on my domain. I found out it was on 24mb. I asked them to boost it to 64mb and it works great now. I do not get a white screen any more. You might want to try having the PHP memory limit boosted to 64mb.
