• OK, here’s what happened:

https://jurgenfauth.com was doing ok in google, at least as the number one search for my name, and I was getting decent hits through searches and especially image searches. I had the sitemap generator installed and working.

Then I upgraded to 2.3. At first I didn’t bother updating the sitemap generator, so I think the old sitemap.xml was still in place. Instead, I installed All in One SEO plugin and configured it to make some changes in the title, add keywords and metadescription etc.

After a week or so, I realized my site had dropped off Google entirely. Ahhh! I installed the upgraded sitemap generator, which seems to be working ok now, but still no sign of my site in Google.

Does anybody have any advice? Do I just need to give it time, or did I somehow permanently screw up my Google listing? I’m using Google webmaster tools and I made sure the sitemap is added there. jurgenfauth.com is the #1 result for my name in Yahoo search.

Any help would be much appreciated.

No one? I’d love some advice — could this be an upgrade problem (the tags are different now), a sitemap problem, an all-in-one seo problem, or something unrelated?

Should I just wait and hope for the best, or is there a way to write to Google and find out what happened?

Getting pretty desperate here, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
