    Dear Yoast experts,

We are struggling to view the “SEO Title” field in the editing view.

So I get the view as “%%page%% %%sep%% %%sitename%%” instead of the completed SEO title based on my page name, sitename etc.

Please also the screenshot here: https://ibb.co/j4Pv9yz

I would appreciate some guidance here.

    Hello @edirik,

Thanks for reaching out about your SEO title. Can you share a full screenshot of the edit screen as it’s unclear that’s Yoast SEO meta box.

In the page source, I see the following:

    <title>Almanya'da Turkish Expats - Vasistdas.de</title>

    <meta name="description" content="Almanya'da Turkish Expats gruplar?m?zla Türkiye'den yak?n zaman i?erisinde Almanya'ya g?? etmi? ki?ilerle ileti?ime ge?menizi sa?l?yoruz." />

Do they match your expectations? Can you tell me what WordPress and Yoast SEO versions you have installed?

    Sure, WordPress: Current version: 6.3.2

    Yoast SEO: 21.4

    Yoast SEO Premium: 20.3

Can you uninstall the Yoast SEO Premium and see if there’s a difference?

Unfortunately no difference after uninstallation of Yoast.

Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty-Two.

Please test this on your development or staging site if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts

If you feel uncomfortable doing this yourself or if this does not solve your issue, our Yoast SEO Premium plugin comes with one year of (technical) support.

    hi,

Last question and an update. I did all the points you mentioned without any suggestion. In staging, I deactivated all the plugins except Yoast but no success.

So my question: Does that really impact my SEO? What I mean is I see this in back-end but do I still set my page-specific SEO settings at the end even though I see it as “%%page%% %%sep%% %%sitename%%”

    Thanks,
