SEO tips for BBpress

    Hey Sybre

    I have started this new topic so that its own thread.

    I have never used BBpress before so I am uncertain about how to use it in conjunction with your plugin. I see that there is provision for me add SEO on forums, topics and replies…but that seems unworkable. Of course it is easy to do on Forums because I will be creating those, but what of the topics and replies created by site users?

    Do you have any best practice tips for using bbpress with the SEO framework?

    Hi Max,

    The best practice, as it’s user generated content, is to just let it be.

    If you have highlighted/popular topics or posts, feel free to optimize the SEO content. But you shouldn’t spend your days optimizing each reply and topic.

    Of course, as the Forums are held and created by you, you can of course optimize those.

    The forums, topics and replies are getting their own auto-generated description and title. This should all work out perfectly :).

    Easy enough, forums and topics I create, tweak SEO in your framework, the remainder can fend for themselves.
