    Hi,

I have a blog with over 1600 small posts. In the overview with posts in dashboard there are about 600 posts which have the indication that the seo Score needs improvement. When I view these posts individually in the block editor then the seo Score appears to be ok. When I update the post then it is no longer in the summary with posts which need improvement of the seo score. Is there a solution to update all the posts at once?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello Willem,

Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. I’m sorry about the disparity in the SEO scores when editing a post and the?Posts overview?page. The Yoast SEO plugin analyzes the content straight in your browser while editing; your browser performs the analysis “live” as you add content, make modifications, etc. This is the score displayed in your post edit screen from the Yoast SEO meta box. Once you publish or save a post, this score is saved to the database. The scores saved in the database are the ones that are displayed on the post overview screen (under the score columns).

However, we have seen unexpected issues where the previously optimized data is invalid or incomplete. We’ll start with a reset of the optimization to ensure we’ve removed any invalid data. We know that resetting the data may sound intimidating, but our How to reset the Yoast indexables guide will walk you through the process step by step. We’ve also summarized the steps below:

    1. Install & activate the Yoast Test Helper plugin
    2. Go to Tools > Yoast Test
    3. Locate the Yoast SEO section and click on the ‘Reset indexables tables & migrations‘, ‘Reset Prominent words calculation‘, and ‘Reset Internal link counter‘ buttons. After each click, the page will reload to confirm that the specific reset was successful.
    4. Go to SEO > Tools, and under SEO data, click the “Start SEO data optimization” button to allow Yoast to rescan your content.

Please let us know if the reported issue remains after resetting the optimized data.

    Hi Maybellyne,

The problem has not been resolved yet. I followed the procedure twice and then tested to see if the problem was resolved. I have the same problem with the readability score in the overview.

    Hello Willem,

Were the posts existing before you started using the Yoast SEO plugin?

    Hi Maybellyne,

I don’t know how many years I use the plugin. For some people it must be a lifetime.

Some of the posts are old but most of them are recent. Despite that I updated all posts when you created the opportunity to note the primary category and the breadcrump path.

If you have written the posts before installing the plugin, you need to update the posts and update before the accurate SEO/readability score is reflected
