A question about SEO I am unsure of.
Your plugin effectively changes the name of our image file names by appending for example mlu7zfoqzssw.i.optimole.com to the front of it.

Surely this has an affect on the images which have already been listed in search engines, as Google for example sees this as an entirely new image and drops our previous image from search results? Thanks for your help ??

It seems Google can now read Javascript, but still my question is whether the images can be indexed in image search with your plugin loaded?

I saw this. Does your plugin conform to this (above my knowledge)?: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/guides/lazy-loading

    Hello David,

Yes, it should work just fine, we already use them for our blogs, themeisle.com/blog and codeinwp.com.

The only change that relates to SEO, we add noindex header and canonical back to original image source to the placeholder images ( that blurred ones ) which is used only on lazy loading mechanism.

Let me know if you need anything else.
