    It is apparent that what you have entered into the Yoast SEO plugin as SEO title and meta description is what is being shown in the page source. The problem is not with the plugin but Google. I suspect that you recently edited the title and description but Google has not yet updated its index. You may consider requesting re-indexing if your site is set up in the Google Search Console. This will prompt Google to recrawl your site and update its index.

    Date in search results
    Search appearance > Archives > date archives is not responsible for this. Unfortunately, there is no option in?our plugin to prevent dates from showing up in the search results. Ultimately, Google decides whether or not a date is shown in the search engine result pages. There are a few ways to influence this, but this is beyond the scope of our support on Yoast SEO. What we can do is refer you to a source?here?to learn more about this.
