    Since updating to the latest version of Yoast this weekend, the single listings title tags, meta, etc, are overwritten by the parent page title, meta, etc. Is this plugin no longer compatible with Yoast?

  • Same here!! All plugins are updated to latest and now we have title three times in page except normal WP pages, like

    First: <meta property=”og:title” content=”Saijan loma-kartano – Visit Taivalkoski” />
    Second: <!– This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v14.1 – https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/ –>
    <title>- Visit Taivalkoski</title>
    Third: <meta property=”og:title” content=”- Visit Taivalkoski” />

    And in search you can see the first one but in live site the last one??

    We just updated the plugin to get compatibility with the latest version of Yoast SEO plugin.

    I think a version of this is happening again? WordPress, yoast & all plugins up to date
    My yoast settings are not being properly applied to w2dc_listing or any of the w2dc taxonomies (-category, -location, -tag)

    Example for an individual location
    First – this is correct… and is actually how yoast is configured:
    <meta property=”og:title” content=”Sunrise Landing Bed and Breakfast”
    <meta property=”og:description” content=”Discover a contemporary lakeside retreat, 10 miles from famed Watkins Glen, NY, in a wooded setting on the west side of Seneca Lake. Sunrise Landing Bed & Breakfast rests on the renowned Finger Lakes wine …” />

    Second: <!– This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v14.6.1 – https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/ –>

    <title>Bed & Breakfasts</title>
    <meta property=”og:title” content=”Bed & Breakfasts” />
    <meta name=”description” content=”View the Bed & Breakfasts page from Finger Lakes Bed and Breakfast Association. Click to learn more & book direct!”

    The live site is displaying the second instead of the first even though yoast is configured just like “first”… instead of using the yoast setting for the location or listing it’s using the “page” setting from the parent page instead of the individual directory listing.

    Advice on how to resolve?
