SEO in Yoast for category

    Hi,
    I’m trying to improve SEO for my site.
    I read the yoast information on including Custom items, it suggests that putting %%ct_desc_acadp_category%% (or similar) say in the category Taxonomies would work.
    Although from your Custom information it seems it needs and ‘ID=(number)’ to show this?
    How would i transfer the number to the Yoast custom command when it is a variable depending on the page?
    Or is this something that is not possible?

    Hi Tony,

    The Yoast plugin settings work only when the site uses the WordPress’s standard taxonomy pages. But, we are displaying our categories in the custom page and your settings from YOAST will not work in these pages. I’ve taken a note of this feature and will do the possibilities in future.
