SEO implications moving Bog to root please?

I have established a wordpress blog on a couple of sites and have been so impressed by what I can do with it I want to make what I did the main site vs a separate link to blog.
I see the explanation of how to move it from wordpress but I am wondering how I handle all the SEO implications. My “old” sites have several pages made up in iWeb.
