seo – google displays all my post with the same desc

  • if i google site:taddict.com all the titles are different but the descriptions are the same? EH??

    i have google xml sitemaps plugin installed and in the past i have done some html tweaking which could be the problem any thoughts?

  • Maybe it is currently pulling your meta description? Do you have different meta descriptions for every post and page? You can do this with the SEO All In One plugin.

    When did you launch this site? Is it a forum? For the first few weeks, this happens until Googlebot starts indexing your content in more detail.

    the site has been up since december…. i dont think i have different meta descriptions for every post and page, I wouldn’t have done that much coding, i will try the SEO all in one

    no its not a forum, a blog >:D

    Get a plugin that automatically creates a meta description. Also, the descriptions shown in Google vary depending on the query, and those shown for a site: search tend to just be strange and nothing to worry about.

    all in one seo fixed some of the problem, i just took out the %blog_title% in the post title settings and that seem to take out my blog title on my post pages – i just need google to update to see if it works on the search
