Hi Sushyant, you may want to consider using a theme that supports SEO. That’s one reason I use the premium theme that I use.

Suffusion is a theme which has an seo option in it’s configurations. It’s free , but I haven’t tested the seo results. There are also lots of seo plugins in extend.

SEO isn’t some magic thing you can make happen with a plugin. It doesn’t work that way.

And you;d still need to tweak settings for each blog and each post.

I just set up all-in-one-seo on a multisite install. You can do a “network activate” to get it to turn on for all sites – but it won’t run from the mu-plugins directory.

Once you’ve done the network activate, you’ll need to into each blog’s settings and tweak how you want the SEO stuff to work – what the homepage title is, etc. This is not something that is “just turned on” – you as a human have to make some decisions about the keywords and titles and descriptions and such.

Once AIOSEO is network activated, do you mean the site admin of each blog can configure the plugin themselves or me as the super admin have to do it for them?

Will Yoast SEO also work this way? Are both of these plugins free?

Both. SuperAdmin can ALWAYS override, but the Site Admin can change it back.

Yoast’s probably works the same way. Both are ‘free’, but AIOSEO has a pay version. Which you would know if you looked at their plugin pages.
