    I need to access the staging site, with a user who is not admin.

    I read now to a couple of threads here on WordPress and you suggest to disable the staging plugin on the staging site if I am not mistaken.

    But once I do this, it becomes a live site and therefore live duplicate content when I am not wrong? Is this live staging site somehow blocked from crawling, because otherwise when Google crawls my site it would be duplicate content for every page.

    I am sorry for not replying earlier to you, www.remarpro.com did not notify me about your message.

    The staging site header will be set to no-index so there will be no issue of duplicate content.

    @moderator sorry to tag you but I’ve experienced an increase of support requests where I did not get any mail notification for. Without looking on a periodic base here I would miss these requests. So, would be great if you could check the notification system or let this know the responsible party.

    moderator is not an account you can ping though the modlook tag does get a moderator’s attention.

    The forums sends email, that works. But not all mail systems receive or accept the email. These forums send a LOT of email.

    Try using an RSS reader and subscribe to your forum’s feed instead.

    I am sure it does but it’s still strange that emails occasionally did not arrive on my mail server. The mail notification endpoint of all my emails is the same for years (email and mail server settings) and it happens since my being as a member here that some www.remarpro.com generated notification emails slip through. It works most of the time for months without any lost mail and then – from time to time as these days – within a short period multiple notifications did not arrive me.

    So it looks like email notifications are getting lost from time to time for an unknown technical reason… or they were rejected by my mail server without letting me know (unlikely)

    The forum probably does not run a real mail queue system for emails so I accept that we can not rely on these notifications and the RSS approach is just okay for me.

    There are more important things to take care, so
