SEO by Yoast Guidance Question
-
I’m new to SEO by Yoast; attempting to get it configured to best fit my needs. Our company has used godaddy as a host, so that’s where I’m at; so I thought I’d use the SEO Checklist to see what areas I’m lacking.
It indicates to me that I’ve got 970 pages with no tags, broken links, zero words, etc. The problem I have here is that my site contains about 20 pages in total.
So when I look at the pages, I see a lot of problems
*/product-category/ //contains about 100 items
*/product-tag/ //contains about 500 items
*/shop/ //contains about 300 itemsMy guesstimation is that it’s within the Taxonomies page, but I’m afraid of cutting out any positive SEO assistance while trying to resolve this.
I’ve set Categories & Tags as noindex, follow. I think this is correct area however I’m afraid of doing this an incorrect way.
