SEO and wordpress … in regard of the H1-H6 tags ..

  • I am wondering … I know that it’s good to use Headline tags for SEO…The thing is… WordPress allready uses alot of the mostly used H tags for posttitles and so on …

    That means that we cannot use them for optimizing ?

    Well, because if I would use that particular tag, then it would have the same style applied to it …

    So create a div with a class that styles the h1 the way you want and always put your SEO poop inside that div. Then any H1 inside that div will look as you wish.

    Not at all. The THEME controls the visual/css styling. SEO the theme files, and you can do whatever you want (within reason!).
